We always think of increasing the power of the vehicle to gain speed, rarely do we consider the importance of faster and safer braking. This is a very important factor as the standard braking systems on many vehicles is not effective enough with the standard vehicle’s performance. Fitting larger discs and callipers is a very expensive process. We have put together quite an affordable package which is very popular. Using the same (standard) callipers, we replace the discs and pads with performance parts that can handle higher temperatures. This will give you 30-35% more stopping power! The discs are manufactured locally and the pads are imported from Australia and the USA. Here are some examples...

We do exhaust systems on all makes and models. You can choose between a mild steel or a stainless steel exhaust. The stainless steel exhaust comes with a 5 year warrantee.

We also do cat removals. On newer level cars it is sometimes necessary to fit a Unichip together with the cat removal as the computer can sense if the cats are blocked or open (not there anymore).

Note: We also do work on loose cylinder heads, just drop your cylinder head off and collect it when we are done. Please note that the prices are excluding labour to remove and/or install the head. Also excluding parts i.e. valves, guides & seals.

Considering the fact that vehicles are mass produced, manufacturer's specified settings are general guidelines and does not consider each engines individual characteristics.  Dyna-tuning is the process whereby the engine settings are adjusted (tuned) while continuously monitoring the performance during the adjustment, in order to obtain the position of optimum performance.

Normally there is only one kind of conversion for diesel vehicles, and most of the time, with latest diesel vehicles, most modifications are electronic. We rarely change the exhaust systems on diesel vehicles. The advantage of diesel engines is that you have better control of where you want the engine to perform at its best, unlike petrol engines. The disadvantage of diesel engines is that you are restricted with the combustion temperature of the engine, it CANNOT run to hot, especially in a country like South Africa where the ambient temperature can get very hot! Diesel engines do NOT like HIGH RPM!!!

On Petrol vehicles we normally have 2 kinds of conversions, namely Stage 1 and Stage 2. On some of the newer vehicles we only do a Stage 1 as it is more cost effective and better value for money to the customer. We get excellent results on some of our Stage 1’s!!! With the drivability of the vehicle becoming substantially better, this result being due to the intelligent Unichip we use.
